Surely all are excited. We leave for Zambia on Thursday. To the entire group of missioners: What will you take away from Zambia when your journey comes to an end? A souvenir, some photos? If you are fortunate, you’ll get to tuck deep in your brain a smiling face and a tender embrace. Eventually the souvenir will collect dust and the photo will fade, but that face…that touch…they will last forever. Whose face is it…really? Read Matthew 25:34-40.
My husband and I served with Trish in Zambia and wish we could be on the trip with you! Please greet Ba Chanda for the Chafee Tribe. Grace, peace, and safety to you all for the journey and if I remember correctly, "Mwende bweno," which means, "travel well."
